Chris covers most East and South Auckland including Botany, Howick, Clevedon, Pukekohe and Drury. Chris takes care of the lawn mowing, hedge trimming, tree pruning, chainsawing and even some water blasting. He also does some gardening for those who are in need. His mulch and catch mower serve him well as well as his line trimmers.
Before Crewcut, Chris was an agricultural contractor for five years, and before that he was a farmer for 30 years in the Waikato region. So his experience in the great outdoors is more than enough to cope with the daily tasks of lawn and garden maintenance. He knows about all the different types of grasses, and how to deliver his services because of this. In his spare time, he does trail riding with his trusty bike that’s always ready to go. His other favourite pastime is having some fun with his grandkids.
What he likes the most about the franchise system is how you’ll be helped to get jobs, giving your support and keeping you up to date with what’s happening in the area. Crewcut appealed to him in particular because of its reputation and effective marketing. His goal is to grow the business as big as possible and get another person on his team to help service the clients. His words of advice for any aspiring lawn business owner? Be loyal to your customers. Speak to them in the highest regard, and make sure they always feel like they’re getting the best service. He attributes a lot of business success to this very point. It’s your business to get out there and do the work. Never give up, just keep pushing.
