Geoff has been a part of the Crewcut North Shore team since 2011. From the Hauraki Corner to Okura he has clients he offers his lawn mowing, hedge trimming, and tree pruning services to. With a stronger focus on his lawn mowing, he can provide a fair quote every time and deliver a great finish. He has used Shindaiwa products since it was first recommended to him when he started his Crewcut business. He finds them reliable, and easy to fix and maintain.

Geoff has a degree in biological and environmental sciences from the University of Auckland and found himself working for the North Shore Council after his last exam. As a beach warden in the environmental department, he got to patrol the beach and make sure to keep an eye out for anything that wasn't supposed to be there. From there he went on to own a cafe in Browns Bay called The Golden Sands. That’s where he found enjoyment in dealing with a range of different customers. He also worked in a bakery, and that’s where he had his first encounter with Crewcut. A lawn mowing operator would come in for his lunch and Geoff would ask more and more questions until he was sold that Crewcut was his next business venture.

On a Friday, Geoff’s dad will come to help him out for the day. He has his Monday to Thursday job sorted as a crane operator but gets to spend the day getting a top notch father/son team on the job. For any aspiring Crewcut service providers, the advice he has is that if it’s to be, it up to you. Nothing is easy, so if you want to succeed you’ll have to put in the hard yards. Winners never quit and quitters never win. Also, you need to remember that a bad day is just a bad day.
