With a love for the outdoors and mowing lawns, it was a natural decision for Neata from Tauranga to create a business out of it. She joined Crewcut in 2021 and set about offering lawn mowing, weed eating, gardening, and hedge trimming services throughout Tauranga, Mount Maunganui, and Papamoa.

While being outside was one drawcard, it wasn’t the only one. The flexibility and work-life balance meant she could still spend as much time with her family and children as possible.

Neata prides herself on being friendly, honest, and reliable. She also uses high-quality equipment from Stihl, Honda, and Victa, to ensure she provides a professional finish every time. She says she only recently learned about how great the edger tool is when she joined the team. Even in Neata’s short time with Crewcut, she has advice for other newcomers in the business: “Enjoy your business and the lifestyle this opportunity brings.”

When she’s not busy helping her customers, she’s spending time with her family, working on her cars, and attending car shows.
