What Does Crewcut Green Do?
We take a regular lawn care service and flip it on its head, with low-emission vehicles, battery-powered tools, sustainable practices, and responsible green waste disposal. We want to be at the cutting edge of green practices for you and the environment’s benefit.
We’re making small changes to our overall business operations with the earth in mind. We’re using low-emission transport to get from A to B, use sustainable gardening practices and natural products, and we’re relying on electronic media wherever possible. From the start of the working week to the very end, we’re doing our best in putting the environment first.
Crewcut Green Services
You might be wondering whether ‘going green’ means you miss out on those lawn care services you know and love. The answer is no. We’re dedicated to ensuring that your property maintenance services remain as efficient as ever, but with a nod to Mother Earth.
Lawn Mowing
Crewcut Green franchisees are proud to offer eco-friendly lawn mowing services using battery-powered and electric lawnmowers. If you want us to remove your lawn clippings, we can dispose of them as green waste at a recycling centre, if available. If your lawns need a helping hand to look at their best, we can also provide eco-friendly and organic soil and lawn products.
Gardening & Clean-Ups
Some of our Crewcut Green team members may offer gardening and section clean-ups as their main service offering.
When required, they are able to use eco-friendly products for gardening. In addition, they can also remove gardening materials as green waste for disposal at an appropriate facility.
Hedge Trimming & Tree Pruning
With emissions at the forefront of our minds, some of our Crewcut Green team offer hedge trimming and tree pruning with a difference.
Rather than rely on petrol power, they use power tools of all kinds with batteries. Expect the same high-quality service, but with a green twist.

John Bracewell
Currently serving clients on the North Shore is John Bracewell. As a former New Zealand cricketer, John is passionate about the outdoors and also understands how vital our clean, green image is. He’s willing to bat for the environment by offering eco-friendly lawn care practices for those passionate about reducing their carbon footprint.
Steven E Sousa
Our second Crewcut Green franchisee also based on the North Shore used to own a pet store in South Africa. With his personal motto, “No losing, only learning. No failure, only opportunity. No problems, only solutions,” Steve is out to build his outdoor business and at the same time do his bit in caring for the environment.
